How to change the password of your cPanel Account Print

If you wish to change the Password of your cPanel. Then please follow below steps:

1.Login to the cPanel.

2.Click on the Change Password.

3.Type your Original/Current Password in the box to the right of Old Password.

4.Then type the desired Password in the box to the right of New Password.
(Password should contain upper-case and lower-case alphabets,as well as characters/symbols and numbers. For eg. C$b^h8#N5lS%)
NOTE : The password strength should be equal or greater than 80%. The Password strength meter turns green when the required password strength is met.

5.Type the New Password once again for the verification in the box to the right of New Password (again).

6.Do NOT uncheck the box for "Allow MySQL password change".
(This does not reset any passwords for your database users; rather, it keeps you able to login to phpMyAdmin)

7.Then click on Change your password now.
Password will be changed successfully. Before you proceed, you will be prompted to log back into cPanel.

NOTE : It is recommended to change your password at least once a month. It is also recommended to have the password be alpha numeric so it is difficult to guess.
